Registration

To use this website you must first complete the subscription form and create a user name and password. During the subscription process you are required to give contact information, such as name, business area, and email address. We use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest.

Any information that you provide through the 1031NetEx registration process, post to the site, or provide in response to offers made available to you through our site, is completely voluntary. You always have a choice whether or not to disclose the information requested. If you choose not to provide certain information, you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. Security

All credit card transactions are processed by Authorize.Net, a professional payment authorization service which uses secure server technology. Authorize.Net was chosen for added security and reliability. Only information necessary to process the transactions and prevent fraud is supplied to Authorize.Net. This information is maintained in their databases for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties. 1031NetEx does not maintain a copy of the credit card information on its servers.

1031NetEx offers a significantly reduced incentive for data theft because we do not collect sensitive credit card information. Internally, we restrict access to your information to employees who need access to the information in order for them to do their jobs. These employees are limited in number and are committed to our privacy and security policies. Finally, the servers on which we store your information are kept in a secure environment. The Controls You Have On The Information You Share

If you do not want us to share contact, postal, e-mail address and business or service information with third party marketers, we can add your name to our "do-not-share" list. Unsubscription requests are processed within 72 hours but because of time lags due to scheduling, you may receive one or two additional e-mail messages that had been pre-scheduled.

If you supply 1031NetEx with your postal address, you may receive periodic postal mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. You may also receive mailings from other reputable companies. TECHNICAL INFORMATION

When you visit our website, our Web server sends a cookie to your computer. This cookie merely stores a limited amount of information about your site visit. The cookie merely tracks aggregate information on how our site is being used, including session counts, navigation patterns, pages visited, etc. These cookies, however, do not store any personally identifiable information as you browse the site. These cookies cannot be related to you as an individual unless you complete a subscription form. When you subscribe, we store your cookie identification in our system. 1031NetEx also utilizes Web Logs to track aggregate information about how our site is being used. Unlike cookies, Web Logs are maintained only on 1031NetEx servers and do not store or place anything on the user's computer.

SERVICE-RELATED ANNOUNCEMENTS

We will send you strictly service-related announcements on occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services on the site, and to manage your account.

We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third party sources to create a "profile" of your preferences. We tie your personally identifiable information, and your transaction history, to information in the profile, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve the content of the site for you.

IDENTIFICATION AND ADDRESS VERIFICATION

We use a third party and/or third party software to verify your identity and/or address in order to verify the authorization on all credit card transactions.

ENHANCEMENT OF PROFILE INFORMATION

We purchase marketing data from third parties and add it to our existing user database, to better target our advertising and to provide pertinent offers in which we think you would be interested. To enrich our profiles of individual customers, we tie this information to the personally identifiable information they have provided to us.

We are committed to maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on all of our subscribers. We may provide you with access to account information in different ways, for example, over the telephone, online, or on paper.

If you are a current subscriber and have registered for online access through our web site, you may update information online. If you are unable to make changes to the information you have provided to us online, you may contact us in order to do so.

AGENTS

We use an outside shipping company to fulfill orders, and a credit card processing company to bill you for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.

LOG FILES

As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

CLEAR GIFS (WEB BEACONS/WEB BUGS)

Our third party advertising partner employs a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that helps us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We may tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers' personally identifiable information.

SALE, MERGER OR REORGANIZATION
